WHAT WE ARE
- A network of Spirit led servant leaders connected to one another by the Lord Jesus Christ
- An apostolic association and fellowship providing ordination and accountability for qualified men and women having leadership calling and gifting.
- An apostolic adviser for local churches and ministry organizations
- A ministry of Eagles Rest Ministries.
RELATIONSHIPS
Relationships will not be legislated from a hierarchy, but develop as members within the fellowship discern those God is calling to connect with, relate to and receive from in relational fellowship and friendship. However, it is understood that existing relationships before connecting with the fellowship and new relationships outside the fellowship are valid and beneficial.
Relationships are free to grow, change and develop as the Holy Spirit directs. The members of this fellowship should establish apprenticeship, mentorship and discipleship relationships among themselves to enhance growth and fruitfulness in their walk with the Lord and ministry.
Relationships must be servant leadership in attitude and not authoritarian or controlling. All members must have someone or ones they are accountable to for their personal lives and ministry. No one should make major moves or decisions in their life or ministry without first seeking counsel from a spiritual advisor or advisors with whom a relationship has been established.
We should perceive and assume that all the members are in a partnership with the Lord and with one another in the work of the Kingdom of God. Members should place a certain amount of trust in the eldership of Eagles Rest to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit in
discernment and judgment to make quality decisions to ordain applicants. This trust is necessary for a positional spiritual unity and oneness to exist, even with those members that are unknown to each other.
We will have gatherings for the fellowship from time to time as the Spirit leads us, to enhance networking, relationships, and to encourage one another.
We strongly emphasize relationship with one another above membership in an organization. The organization is simply there to facilitate relationships between leaders.
POLICIES
No financial fees or charges are required for the service and membership of Eagles Rest Ministerial Fellowship. However, members should consistently pray for the leadership in Eagles Rest and obey the Holy Spirit any time He leads members to give financial gifts to Eagles Rest Ministries.
The leadership of Eagles Rest Ministerial Fellowship reserves the right to make changes in documentation to improve the purity, maturity and effectiveness of service in the Fellowship.
The leadership of Eagles Rest reserves the right to discipline and even revoke an ordination for immoral behavior, conduct, or teaching a different gospel other than the gospel of Jesus Christ. However, this will be approached with a spirit of meekness and prayerfulness with a diligent effort to restore the fallen leader. Each individual situation will be handled with wisdom and love.
It is imperative that all ordained ministers through the Eagles Rest Ministries maintain a regular communication by e-mail, concerning the personal and ministry prayer needs. The prayer team will take these needs and requests to the Lord.
Any member may leave the fellowship but must write a letter stating why they are leaving and send it to the office of Eagles Rest by mail or e-mail. When the letter is received, a written acknowledgement of the resignation letter will be sent to the sender. Membership, ordination and spiritual responsibility will be terminated immediately.
Eagles Rest maintains no legal right or responsibility to control any members business, ministry, fellowship, personal lives or properties.
Eagles Rest is not legally responsible for lawsuits against members of Eagles Rest Ministerial Fellowship for their advice and counsel to others that cause them harm or any negligence by members that causes injury and harm to others.
MENTORING AND ORDINATION
God calls a man or woman and places them in the church and gifts them as He wills. They have a responsibility to obey the Lord to develop their calling and gifts through mentor-ship, educational training and growing into maturity. Leadership gifts are given by God but ordination is done by mature leaders who recognize and confirm the leadership call and discern the leader is ready for public acknowledgement and release into a fuller manifestation of that leadership calling.
Mentoring is the recognition of a leader's calling who is mature enough in character to begin to train, and mentor in their calling under a mature leader. It is an apprenticeship in a ministry gifting and calling.
Ordination is the recognition of a leadership gifting in a man or woman who is mature in character and ready to be released into full leadership calling and gifting.
